‘We’re ready!’: Wetherspoons’ Carnival Inn prepared for Bridgwater Carnival 2024

Carnival Inn will host live music on Carnival Tuesday

The Carnival Inn, Wetherspoons in Bridgwater is preparing for the return of the world famous Bridgwater Carnival which takes place in 2023 on Tuesday 6th November and 2024 on Tuesday 5th November.

The pub is a popular destination for those taking part in the carnival or watching the procession from start to finish, or somewhere to visit to extend the carnival celebrations.

Manager of the Carnival Inn, Wayne Lewis, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming back Carnival to Bridgwater. It’s a fantastic event for the town and we’re always proud to be a part of it. Last year was a great success for us, we were absolutely packed all day and it had a really great atmosphere. We expect it to be even bigger and better this year, with so many people looking forward to its return after the pandemic.”

Live music, charity collection and more

As well as the usual range of drinks and food, the Carnival Inn will be hosting live music on Carnival Tuesday, provided by local band Radio Daze. The band will be playing a mix of classic hits and modern chart toppers, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The pub will also be collecting donations for the Bridgwater Carnival Committee, who organise the event. Last year, the pub raised over £1,000 for the committee, and is hoping to beat that this year.
