Wake Forest Men and Women Set to Compete in the 2024 ACC Championships
Demon Deacons Look to Make a Splash in Greensboro, North Carolina
The Wake Forest men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to compete in the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Championships, which will be held from February 13-16 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Demon Deacons will be looking to make a splash in the pool after a successful regular season. The men's team finished the regular season with a 7-4 record, while the women's team finished 6-5.
Both teams will be led by a strong group of swimmers and divers. The men's team will be led by junior swimmer Max McHugh, who is the reigning ACC champion in the 200-yard breaststroke. The women's team will be led by senior diver Sarah Bacon, who is a two-time NCAA All-American.
The Demon Deacons will face a tough challenge in the ACC Championships. The field will include some of the top swimming and diving programs in the country, including NC State, Virginia, and Florida State.
However, the Demon Deacons are confident that they can compete for a top-five finish in both the men's and women's competitions.
