Former coach Mark Forster leaves "The Voice of Germany"
After four years as Team Coach at "The Voice of Germany", Mark Forster is leaving the show. The singer announced his decision in an Instagram post on Monday. "I've decided to take a break from 'The Voice' after four wonderful years," Forster wrote. "It was an incredible time with unforgettable moments, fantastic encounters, lots of music and great talents. I am very grateful for this experience and I want to thank everyone involved."
Samu Haber returns as a coach
At the same time, ProSieben also announced that Samu Haber will return to the coaching team of "The Voice of Germany". The Sunrise Avenue frontman was already a coach in the first five seasons of the show.
"I am very happy to be back at 'The Voice of Germany'," said Haber. "I've missed the show and the great talents. I'm really looking forward to the new season and to working with my fellow coaches again."
The new season of "The Voice of Germany" starts in autumn.
The recordings for the new season of "The Voice of Germany" will start in the summer. The show will be broadcast on ProSieben and Sat.1 in autumn. In addition to Samu Haber, Rea Garvey and Peter Maffay are confirmed as coaches.
