TOTO Japan Classic: Round 2 Highlights
Round 2 of the TOTO Japan Classic is in the books, and there were plenty of fireworks on display.
Starting the day one shot off the lead, Xander Schauffele shot a 65 to take a one-shot lead over Rory McIlroy. Schauffele made six birdies and just one bogey in his round, and he is now 13-under par for the tournament. McIlroy also shot a 65, and he is tied with Schauffele at the top of the leaderboard.
Other players in contention include Justin Thomas, who is two shots back of the lead, and Collin Morikawa, who is three shots back. Thomas shot a 67 in the second round, while Morikawa shot a 68.
Schauffele is looking to win his first PGA Tour event since the 2019 Sentry Tournament of Champions. McIlroy is looking to win his first PGA Tour event since the 2019 Tour Championship.
The third round of the TOTO Japan Classic will be played on Saturday. The final round will be played on Sunday.

The third round of the TOTO Japan Classic is shaping up to be a thriller. Schauffele and McIlroy are tied for the lead, and Thomas and Morikawa are just a few shots behind.
