Pietro Lombardi: Biography and Career
Pietro Lombardi is a German singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to fame in 2011 after winning the eighth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS), the German version of Pop Idol. Since then, Lombardi has released four studio albums, four singles, and has been a judge on DSDS for several seasons. He has also appeared in several television shows and films.
Early Life and Career
Lombardi was born in Karlsruhe, Germany, on June 9, 1992. He began singing at a young age and performed in several local talent shows. In 2011, he auditioned for the eighth season of DSDS and was selected as one of the finalists. Lombardi quickly became a fan favorite and eventually won the competition.
Music Career
After winning DSDS, Lombardi signed a contract with Universal Music Germany. He released his debut single, "Call My Name," in 2011, which reached number one on the German singles chart. His debut album, Jackpot, was released in the same year and also reached number one on the German albums chart. Lombardi has since released three more studio albums, all of which have been commercially successful.

Lombardi has been married twice. He married Sarah Engels in 2013, but they divorced in 2019. In 2021, he married Laura Maria Rypa. Lombardi has two children, a son with Engels and a daughter with Rypa.
