After claiming the No. 1 spot in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll this week, the BYU women's cross country team will look to put an exclamation point on an undefeated regular season with a victory at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday.
The Cougars, who have won their first four meets of the 2022 campaign, will face their toughest competition of the season in Madison, Wisconsin, as No. 2 Stanford and No. 3 North Carolina State will also be competing.
BYU has won its last two meets by a combined 81 points but will need to be at its best to dethrone seven-time defending champion Stanford, which has won 36 consecutive Nuttycombe titles.
