Spartan XC Returns to Cross Country Championships in 2024
The 2024 Big Ten Cross Country Championships will be held in Illinois at the University of Illinois Arboretum. The meet will take place on October 27, 2024, and will feature the top cross country teams in the Big Ten Conference. The men's and women's teams from Michigan State University will be competing in the championships.
The Spartans are coming off a successful 2023 season in which the men's team finished fourth at the NCAA Championships and the women's team placed third. The men's team was led by All-American Jack Aho, who finished ninth overall at the NCAA Championships. The women's team was led by All-American Lauren Freeland, who finished 14th overall at the NCAA Championships.
Spartans Look to Compete for Big Ten Title
The Spartans will be looking to compete for the Big Ten title in 2024. The men's team will be led by Aho, who will be a senior in 2024. The women's team will be led by Freeland and fellow All-American Justine Kiprotich, who will be a junior in 2024.
