Shawsheen Tech’s Annual Trunk or Treat Brings Community Together for Fun and Charity
A Spooktacular Success
Shawsheen Valley Technical High School's annual Trunk or Treat event returned on Saturday, October 22nd, bringing the community together for a night of festive fun and charitable giving. The event, which has become a beloved tradition for the school and the surrounding area, featured over 50 decorated trunks filled with candy, games, and prizes.
Families and children of all ages enjoyed the spooky atmosphere, trick-or-treating from trunk to trunk, and participating in a variety of games and activities. The event also included a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses, with proceeds benefiting the Shawsheen Tech Booster Club.
A Community Affair
The Trunk or Treat event is more than just a night of fun; it's an opportunity for the Shawsheen Tech community to come together and give back. The event is organized entirely by students and staff, who volunteer their time to make the night a success.
The Booster Club, which supports Shawsheen Tech's athletic programs, uses the proceeds from the raffle to fund scholarships for student-athletes and provide equipment and uniforms for the school's teams.
A Night to Remember
This year's Trunk or Treat was a resounding success, with a record number of attendees and a generous amount raised for the Booster Club. The event showcased the school's spirit of community service and provided a memorable and enjoyable experience for all who participated.
