NCAA Cross-Country: FSU, Duke, Pitt, Syracuse set for ACC Championships

Four ACC teams in top 20 of latest USTFCCCA national rankings

The ACC will be well-represented at the 2022 NCAA Cross-Country Championships, with four teams ranked among the top 20 in the latest USTFCCCA national rankings.

Florida State, Duke, Pitt, and Syracuse will all be competing for a national title at the championships, which will be held on November 19th in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Florida State is the highest-ranked ACC team, coming in at No. 5 in the latest rankings. The Seminoles have won the ACC title six times in the last eight years, and they will be looking to add to their trophy case this year.

Duke is ranked No. 12 in the latest rankings, and the Blue Devils are looking to make a statement at the NCAA Championships. Duke has a young team this year, but they have shown a lot of promise this season. Pitt is ranked No. 18 in the latest rankings, and the Panthers are looking to make their first appearance at the NCAA Championships since 2019. Syracuse is ranked No. 20 in the latest rankings, and the Orange are looking to make their first appearance at the NCAA Championships since 2017.

The ACC Championships will be held on October 28th in Charlottesville, Virginia. The top two teams from the ACC Championships will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships.
