NC State Cross Country Set to Host ACC Championship on Nov. 1
Wolfpack to welcome ACC's best to Raleigh on Tuesday
Event to take place at WakeMed Soccer Park
RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State men's and women's cross country teams will host the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Cross Country Championships on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.
The women's 6-kilometer race will begin at 10 a.m. ET, followed by the men's 8-kilometer race at 11 a.m. The races will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
The Wolfpack are coming off a strong performance at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Nov. 11, where the men finished third and the women placed fourth. NC State has won three ACC titles, and finished second the past two years.
The ACC Championships will be a competitive field, with several ranked teams expected to compete. The NC State men are ranked No. 23 in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll, while the women are ranked No. 22.
The top four finishers in each race will earn All-ACC honors. The team champions will receive the league's automatic bids to the NCAA Championships, which will be held on Nov. 18 in Stillwater, Okla.
