The International Championship is an annual professional snooker tournament. This ranking event is part of the World Snooker Tour. It is played in Daqing, China, and has been sponsored by the Bank of Communications since 2015.
The 2024 edition of the tournament will be held from October 23rd to 30th. The total prize money for this year's event is 800,000 pounds. The winner of the tournament will receive 200,000 pounds.
Schedule for Sunday, October 27th
- 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM: Quarter-final 1
- 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Quarter-final 2
- 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Quarter-final 3
Quarter-finals
The quarter-finals will begin at 10:00 AM with the first quarter-final match. This match will feature Judd Trump, the current world number one, against Mark Selby, the former world champion.
The second quarter-final match will be played at 1:30 PM. This match will feature Ronnie O'Sullivan, the six-time world champion, against Neil Robertson, the former world champion.
The third quarter-final match will begin at 5:00 PM. This match will feature John Higgins, the four-time world champion, against Mark Allen, the former world number one.
The winners of the quarter-finals will advance to the semi-finals which will be played on Monday, October 28th. The final will be played on Tuesday, October 30th.
