In-form Lille face acid Lyon test
Lille seek to maintain momentum
In-form Lille will face a tough test of their credentials when they travel to face Lyon in Ligue 1 on Friday.
Lille have won their last four league games, scoring 11 goals in the process, and will be confident of causing Lyon problems.
Lyon, however, are also in good form, having won three of their last four games, and will be determined to maintain their challenge for a Champions League place.
Lyon looking to bounce back
Lyon will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing 3-0 defeat to PSG last weekend.
That result leaves Lyon in fourth place in the table, four points behind leaders PSG.
Lyon will need to be at their best to beat Lille, who are one of the most in-form teams in Ligue 1 at the moment.
Key battle: Jonathan David vs Jerome Boateng
One of the key battles in the game will be between Lille striker Jonathan David and Lyon defender Jerome Boateng.
David has been in excellent form this season, scoring 12 goals in 20 league games.
Boateng, meanwhile, is a veteran defender who has played for some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Prediction
This is a tough game to call, but Lille are in slightly better form at the moment and will be confident of getting a result.
Lyon, however, are a dangerous team and will be determined to bounce back from their defeat to PSG.
I predict a close game, with Lille just edging it.
