Hugh Grant Finally Reveals the Unusual Names of His Daughters
The English actor opens up about his children's unique monikers
"It was a bit of a panic," Grant admits
Hugh Grant has finally revealed the unusual names of his three daughters with wife Anna Eberstein - and the inspiration behind them.
The Notting Hill star, 62, welcomed his first child, a daughter named Tabitha, in September 2011. He and Eberstein, 43, then had two more daughters, Felix Chang and Romy Heather, in December 2012 and January 2015, respectively.
In a new interview with the Sunday Times, Grant said he and Eberstein "panicked" when it came to choosing names for their children.
"We didn't know what to call them," he said. "It was a bit of a panic."
Grant said he eventually came up with the name Tabitha because it was "a bit unusual" and "quite posh."
"I just thought it was a nice name," he said.
The actor said he and Eberstein chose the name Felix for their second daughter because it was "a bit more unusual" than Tabitha.
"And Romy, I just liked the sound of it," he said.
Grant said he is "very happy" with the names he and Eberstein chose for their daughters.
"They're all very different," he said. "Tabitha is very posh, Felix is a bit more bohemian, and Romy is a bit of a wild child."
Grant also has a son, John Mungo, from a previous relationship with Tinglan Hong.
