Grim reason Coleen Rooney will have to wear red socks on I'm A Celeb as she's confirmed for 2024 series

I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! bosses have reportedly signed Coleen Rooney for the 2024 series, with the wife of football legend Wayne set to pocket a whopping £1 million for the appearance.

However, despite being lined up for a bumper payday, the mum-of-four will be banned from wearing her beloved Ugg boots in the jungle.

Coleen is known for her love of the footwear, and often wears them with her designer handbags and glamorous outfits.

But an insider has revealed that she will have to adapt to a more practical wardrobe in the jungle, as she will only be allowed to pack a certain number of items.

And Ugg boots are not on the approved list.

A source told The Sun: "Coleen is a huge I'm A Celeb fan and is really excited about doing the show.

"But she's going to have to leave her beloved Ugg boots at home.

"She can only pack a certain number of items and she's going to need to prioritise things like clothes and toiletries.

"So, unfortunately, the Uggs will have to stay at home."

The insider also revealed that Coleen will be required to wear red socks in the jungle.

This is because red is the colour of the British Red Cross, which is the charity partner for I'm A Celeb.

Coleen will be joined in the jungle by a host of other celebrities, including TOWIE star Lydia Bright, Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and former Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton.

The new series of I'm A Celeb is expected to start in November 2024.
