The Buckeyes Set Their Sights On A Championship

The Ohio State cross country teams will travel to Madison, Wisconsin this weekend for the 2022 Big Ten Cross Country Championships. The meet is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 28th at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.

The men's team enters the meet ranked No. 10 in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. The Buckeyes are led by senior captain Micah Weatherspoon, who is ranked No. 20 in the nation.

The women's team is ranked No. 11 in the USTFCCCA Coaches Poll. The Buckeyes are led by junior captain Anavia Battle, who is ranked No. 15 in the nation.

Both teams are looking to finish in the top three at the Big Ten Championships. The top three teams in each race will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
