I told him that there are at least ten people who will get jobs in PSD companies, because PSD has 35 companies in total." Buzin also said that he told Dragnea that "the judiciary's independence is a priority for PSD", but he did not specify if Dragnea agreed with him on this issue.

Liviu Dragnea was sentenced in May 2019 to three years and six months in prison for abuse of office in the Teleorman employment directorate case. He was released from prison on July 15, 2021, after serving two years and two months of his sentence.
