Berlin: S-Bahn closures in Berlin's north expanded
What's new?
The railway line from Berlin-Buch to Bernau will be closed from 26th of February until the 12th of March due to construction work.
During this time, there will be replacement buses.
What is the impact?
The closures will affect the following S-Bahn lines:
- S2
- S8
- S85
S2
The S2 will run between Blankenfelde and Bernau.
S8
The S8 will run between Birkenwerder and Lichtenberg.
S85
The S85 will run between Grünau and Bernau.
What should passengers do?
Passengers are advised to use replacement buses or alternative transportation during the closure.
